Walker’s Gymnast, Gabby Oeun is the 2026 All-Around Regional Champion for Region 6
Walker’s is incredibly proud of Gabby Oeun, who was crowned the Level 6 All-Around Champion at the Region 6 Championships! Gabby was also one of only seven gymnasts selected to represent Massachusetts on the Level 6 Super Team. She competed alongside the top gymnasts from Massachusetts against teams representing Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont, helping Massachusetts earn the Region 6 Super Team Championship.

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Abby 🤍
Abby started at Walker’s at just 18 months old in our Parent & Child 👧🏼 class . Since then, she’s progressed through Level 4 of USA Gymnastics 🤸🏻 , joined the Xcel team, and in 2020, decided to give dance 🩰 a try . By 2021, she was competing with the Walker’s Dance Team 🎖️
Abby isn’t just a student — she’s an instructor, a teammate, and the definition of a role model.
She’s the kind of person younger kids look up to — and so do we. 💓
Next weekend, she’ll take the stage as Mary Poppins ☂️in our 2025 Dance Recital. 🎭
🍁 In the Fall, Abby is headed Endicott College to study Expressive Arts Therapy, blending her love of gymnastics and dance with child psychology.

Growing up attending Walker’s, I have learned many lessons. How to turn, jump, plié, cartwheel, what have you. But you can learn that at any dance studio. Walker’s has taught me much more than that. I have learned how to handle a difference in opinions, how to treat people with kindness, and most importantly how to respect my peers and teachers. I am forever grateful for the family I have found here, I don’t know what I would do without you guys. Whether it be in the studio, backstage at comp, in a hotel room or Chili’s at 10 pm, we have always been able to put smiles on each others’ faces. Especially this past season I have truly been aware whilst being on stage with my best friends, and that nothing could ever beat that feeling. I am so grateful to have met all these wonderful people that continue to inspire me. Now I could keep writing and writing but never be able to find the perfect words to describe my experience at Walker’s. I am deeply saddened that my time has come to an end, but nothing can last forever and good things are coming!

My 11 years at Walkers have truly shaped me and made me the person I am today. My time in and out of the studio with WDT has taught me the value of hard work and perserveance. It’s also taught me the value that can be found in both winning and losing, while I’m incredibly proud of all the high point awards and platinum supremes our team achieved over the years the days where we walked away disheartened showed me how much hard work success requires and that sometimes things happen but it’s how you respond to disappointment that matters. I’m so thankful for all my amazing teammates and i will cherish the memories we made together for life. I’m so excited for my next chapter as a dancer on the dance team at the University of Vermont but I never would have gotten to this place without walkers. My time at walkers was the best possible training as a dancer, artist, and person. Special thanks to all the incredible staff who I was able to take class from throughout the years and especially Ms. Janine for all her hard work behind the scenes and endless support. With great sorrow Walker’s Gymnastics and Dance announces the passing of our father and founder Reginald T Walker on May 11, 2024 at the age of 86.
For over four decades, one of his life’s greatest joys, was seeing so many children achieve and succeed through gymnastics and dance at Walker’s.
There will be a final drive by of Walker’s at 1:00pm May 16. Please see the link below for funeral details.

What a way to end the season at American Dance Awards. WDT placed 1st overall in 12& under with “Place where there isn’t any Trouble” and 1st place 13& up with “Love Story”. Plus Ultimate Challenge Winners, choreography awards and lot’s of special awards. Congrats everyone, awesome job 👏💜👏

Last night we had our dress rehearsal for Nutcracker! We are so excited to share this one act retelling of the beloved ballet classic! Join us this Saturday at 6pm, at the McCarthy Middle School. Tickets are $15 general admission and can be purchased at Walker’s or at the door.

A little sneak peek at our Nutcracker! Join us Saturday the 16th at 6:00 pm at the McCarthy Middle School in Chelmsford. Our Nutcracker Suite is perfect for children! The performance is around a half hour. General admission is $15 and you can purchase at the door or at Walkers. Can’t wait to see you there 🎄
