From the Lowell Connector
Take Exit 5B onto Thorndike St. After four traffic lights (1/2 mile),
Thorndike St. bears right and becomes Dutton St. Continue on Dutton St.
about 1/2 mile to Merrimack Street by City Hall. Proceed straight onto
Arcand Drive. At the end of Arcand Drive, the
Tsongas Arena is straight ahead.
Turn left at the traffic light onto Morissette Blvd.
Wannalancit Mills is one block on the right.
Proceed to the second light at Aiken Street.
UML East, Lelacheur Ball Park and the Campus Recreation Center are
on the right.
On Morissette Blvd., continue to the third light and turn right onto the
University Ave Bridge. Once across the bridge, UMass Lowell
North is on either side of the road.
Go past the University and take a right onto Riverside Street.
Go past the University and take a right into the parking lot. Costello
Gym is the building closest to the athletic fields.
From the Host Hotel -
Proceed out of Hotel and take a right onto Route 133 heading toward
Lowell.
Take a right at the traffic light onto Route 38 (Nesmith Street)
Continue straight through 2 lights, cross the river and take your 2nd
right after entering the rotary (roundabout) - Continue straight on Rte.
110 keeping the river on your left.
Once you have past the athletic fields and university on your right -
TAKE a right onto University Avenue at the traffic light.
Go past the University and take a right onto Riverside Street at the
traffic light.
Go past the University and take a right into the parking lot. Costello
Gym is the building closest to the athletic fields.
From the West (New York):
Take I-90 East/Mass Pike
toward Boston/New Hampshire. Then take exit 10
onto I-290 toward Worcester. From I-290, take I-495 North toward Lowell
(exits on the left). Then take exit 35 (Lowell Connector). See Lowell
Connector instructions below.
From the North (New Hampshire):
Take Route 3 South to Rte. 495
North and follow signs to the Lowell
Connector (exit 35). See below.
From the South (Rhode Island):
Take I-95 North to US 3 North
(exit 32A) toward Lowell/Nashua. From US 3
North, take Rte. 495 South to the Lowell Connector. See below.
From Logan Airport:
Go through the Sumner tunnel
and follow the signs for I-93 North. Follow
I-93 North to I-495 South. From I-495 South, take exit 35 (Lowell
Connector). See below.
